Project: New VIP Jet Catering in Basel
Achievement
Based on a client request we established two new VIP catering providers for the business aviation market at Basel Airport. Meanwhile they have delivered more than 40 caterings for VIP jets and they are highly appreciated also by other operators and the FBO Air Service Basel.
Success story
After a careful analysis of the specific requirements of our clients based at Basel
airport we evaluated various catering providers in the area around Basel. After a
series of interviews we identified two promising candidates that seemed to meet all
the relevant criteria of a successful VIP aviation caterer.
We set up workshops to define the menu choice, prices and terms & conditions so that
they meet the high expectations of our clients. As a further step we settled the order,
delivery and billing processes and arranged well-proven packaging material for our new
catering partners. As a final step we invited our clients to a tasting event at the
caterer‘s location, which allowed them to judge quality, packaging and presentation of
the catering as it will be delivered to the aircraft in the future. By collecting
feedback and discussing suggestions from our clients we further refined the product in
cooperation with our catering partners.
On May 13th 2010, three months after we started the project, the first catering was
successfully delivered for a corporate Falcon 7X.
Project: New Catering Provider at Berne
Achievement
DeliSky successfully implemented a new catering solution for a client who operates several business jets and a regional airline based at Bern. In the role of the project manager DeliSky was responsible for the overall planning, the evaluation and selection of the new caterer and the complete certification of the new caterer as a regulated supplier by the civil aviation authorities of Switzerland. DeliSky finished this challenging project in time – the new caterer started his operation on July 1st 2010, delivering up to 140 meals per day. Our client is highly satisfied with the new, high class catering solution.
Success story
After many years of providing a rather standard catering on its holiday charter and line flights, our client strategically decided to take over quality leadership in the local market and to radically improve their in-flight product and services at unchanged costs with a new, innovative catering provider. The project “Airline Catering Bern” was initiated and DeliSky was asked to take over the leadership. We set up the detailed planning, conducted the evaluation of various catering providers and supported our client in the definition of the the new in-flight product. Within only five weeks DeliSky achieved the FOCA certification of the new caterer as a “regulated supplier of in-flight products” and conducted all required trainings regarding security, logistics and quality control with the new caterer. The project deadline could be met and the first catering was delivered as planned.
